More lift with new diesel forklift trucks
Two heavy models have been added to the diesel forklift range: the new 180D-7E has a load capacity of 18 t with a load centre distance of 900 mm, while the 250D-7E can carry as much as 25 t with a centre distance of 1,200 mm. Modern Cummins engines, ZF gears and Kessler axles are the foundation for optimum power and high capacity in all operating conditions. With these new models, Hyundai now offers a complete range of diesel forklift trucks from 1,5 t to 25 t load capacity, so there is a machine for almost all customer needs.
Both new models have integrated load indicators on the forks as standard. This high precision load indicator (maximum deviation <1%) displays the weight of the load and sounds an alarm if the maximum permissible load is exceeded. There is also a rear view camera as standard on the heavy forklifts which considerably improves operating safety. Three more cameras can be connected so that the operation of the forklift can be monitored by a total of four cameras. Air conditioning is standard on the new forklifts to make working conditions as comfortable as possible for the driver. Both new machines also have the Hyundai tilting cabin. The cabin can be completely tilted to the side for easy access for service work. Design modifications to all the forklifts in the heavy range from 11 t to 25 t load capacity have also resulted in a much better view of the mast.
New design for tomorrow’s “beauties”
Engineers in the Hyundai development centre are currently working on the design for the planned new series of electric forklift trucks. Visitors to CeMAT will be given an enticing glimpse of what the next generation of Hyundai forklifts will look like. The designers appear to have done a great job. The new machines will have attractive, rounded bodywork with generous areas of glass in the spacious operator cabins.
Also on the stand will be a selection of the current range of electric, LPG and diesel forklift trucks. Material handling equipment such as electric stackers, electric staplers and reach trucks round off the presentation. The South Korean manufacturer reinforces once again its commitment to extend its range of industrial equipment and to offer a wide range of products for all sectors of material handling.
