Power pallet truck with ride-on operator designed and projected with the new ac technology which allows to optimize the energy saving, the performances
and the efficiency thanks to compact dimensions which improve the manoeuvrability and the working operations in narrow spaces. Not only high
level of performances but also a good care to the operator: minimum level of tiredness thanks to easy operating on the controls and the maximum
safety thanks to the automatic return of the tiller arm in rest position when released.

 

Electronic system

The entire OMG range of power pallet truck with ride-on operator is equipped with high frequency electronic ac devices able to work in high temperature conditions (on the control and/or on the motor) without any unit stops.
The controls are equipped with anti roll-back devices which check and control
all the units functions and allow many adjustments to optimise the units
performances, adapting it to the type of work application it has to carry out
All the parameters related to drive and electric braking are electronically
adjustable by a programming console in accordance with the customers
requirements. All the models are equipped with hour meter and battery
discharge indicator with lifting cut-off at 80% discharge.

 

Drive

Reliable sensor less three phase current traction drive motor ac able to meet
the most demanding performance requirements, delivering the necessary
power under all load conditions as the traction speed exactly depends on
the position of the drive throttle.


 

Braking

There are three braking systems throughout the range:
• braking on reversal of direction of travel (service braking);
• emergency braking will automatically occurs on release of the steering
handle by means of an electromagnetic brake
• parking brake.


 

Chassis
Of folded frame construction to minimize welding-induced stresses, it
offers maximum stability and superior mechanical strength under all
traction conditions. The painting is made in modern painting plants.
The battery compartment is accessed simply by lifting the case, thus
simplifying daily and periodical checks and recharging. Particular
attention has been given to provide easy access to wearing parts in
order to minimize routine maintenance costs. The forks are composed
by high resistance steel and equipped with standard double load 
wheels.

Comfortable driving The central position of the operator, within the chassis ensures a high level of protection and a wide view visibility. Comfort operator’s platform with cushioned footrest Very strong and robust side arms with soft polyurethane Spring lever to easily unlock the side arms and convert from ride-on to pedestrian in few minutes.

 

Steering handle This is the result of detailed ergonomic study, combining the requirements of operating comfort with modern industrial design. All the controls on the handle are easy to reach, ensuring productivity and precision and so greater efficiency. When released, the handle returns to the vertical position without bumping or rebound, thanks to a gas spring with integrated braking system. handle tiller arm made of ABS with steel core able to absorb heavy impact without deformation; lifting and lowering of the forks by push buttons positioned on both sides; acoustic warning button in central position; active safety system with anti-crush device when the operator’s driving in pedestrian mode; electric servo steering on model 325 P5 ac to obtain exact and sensitive driving operations.

 

Battery side extraction facility: standard for model 325 P5 ac option for model 320 P5 ac with 24V 375Ah battery. Side hinged polyethylene battery cover. Battery box placed on iron rollers to ensure easy in and out battery changing for multi shift applications. The traction battery is easily unlocked by a lever and simply and safely auto locked inserting the battery in its compartment.
